Hello, fabulous people!
I know its been a minute since I posted, but we celebrated my daughter's fourth birthday (omg how is she so old already...) this past weekend and I wanted to fish for compliments share with you guys how I threw her a delightful mermaid party for not a lot of money! Almost all of the decorations came from Dollar Tree, and some from Wal-Mart. Make sure you check both places, because I did find a few things cheaper at Wal-Mart.
White Tablecloth | Teal Tablecloth | Blue Tablecloth | Net |
Bowls | Bath Sponge | Ribbon |
Crepe Paper | Table Cover | Deco Mesh |
For the seaweed door garland, I cut different widths of the green plastic tablecloth ($1 at Dollar Tree!), and followed these cutting diagrams I found on Pinterest. They are originally for 'jungle vines' but I thought they looked passable for seaweed, so we rolled with it :)
I also added some deco mesh (Dollar Tree!) and crinkled crepe paper (you guessed it...Dollar Tree!) to break it up a little bit. I simply hot glued everything to a piece of bias tape I had laying around. You could definitely staple them to a piece of ribbon as well.
